Peer to Peer Pathway Panels

The grassroots effort began in January with Saugus Aerospace Engineering students visiting Arroyo Seco, where they showed groups of 8th graders a variety of robotics, rockets, and gliders from their class projects. Aerospace teacher Seth Groller talked about the progression of skills students acquire through the sequence of classes in the pathway. Arroyo Seco parent Tammy Fujii, a ground data systems manager at JPL, delivered a powerful message about career readiness, pointing out that communication and collaboration skills go a long way in complementing student's academic performance and contribute to employability.
Future panels will include automotive technology on 2/23, fire science on 3/16, and sports medicine TBD.
