The Career & College Readiness Department would like to introduce our two new career mascots... futuristic life size mannequins who need names. They can be seen here with Wm. S. Hart Union High School's District Superintendent Vicki Engbrecht at a WiSH Foundation Fundraiser, Cocktails on the Roof. The WiSH Foundation was created to bring awareness to the gap in public education funding. The Event raised more than $45,000 for the Hart District students. All money raised at the recent event benefits more than 23,000 students in the Hart District.
The additional pictures of the Robots include Dr. Cherise Moore and Assistant Superintendent Mike Kuhlman of the Wm. S. Hart Union High School District.
After the Cocktails on the Roof Event, the Robots next visited Tania Mulry’s Steamworks Center Grand Opening on September 6, 2017. Steamworks Center is a workspace and resource hub for entrepreneurs in the Santa Clarita Valley. The business offers a variety of flexible space arrangements to people who need to host an event, lead a class, have a private client meeting or just a quiet desk for the day. They support entrepreneurs and connect them to emerging talent in the Santa Clarita Valley from local schools, colleges, returning graduates and experienced freelancers.
Next, the Robots will be traveling throughout Santa Clarita to provide information on our Career and College Readiness Programs by appearing at public events, schools, and businesses. If you would like to have the Robots visit your business or event, or for more information, please contact Linda Cox at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 661-259-0033 x223
